Layout Check · Bengaluru
Privacy
Layout Check is a small early pilot that writes reports on Bengaluru neighbourhoods. This page says what we keep about you, why, and how to have it deleted. Last updated 3 October 2026.
What we keep
- When you sign in with Google: your name, email address and Google account ID. We ask Google for nothing else, so we can’t see your Gmail, contacts, files or anything else in your account.
- Your invite code and how many reports are left on it.
- The areas you ask about: the place name and map pin, and when you asked.
- If you buy more reports: that you chose a pack, so we can match your UPI payment to your code. You pay in your own UPI app; we never see your bank or card details.
- On your device only: the ticks on a report’s viewing checklist and your invite code are kept in your browser, not on our servers.
What we use it for
- To build your reports, show you the ones you’ve asked for, and email you when one is ready.
- To keep track of your invite credits and any reports you buy.
- To reply when you write to us about a report.
We don’t sell your data, show you ads or share it with advertisers.
Services that handle it for us
- Supabase: our database and Google sign-in.
- Vercel: hosts the site and counts visits without identifying you.
- Resend: sends report emails.
- Google Maps and OpenStreetMap: find the places you search for. They receive the place, not who you are.
- Anthropic (Claude): helps write report text from public information about the area. It isn’t sent anything about you.
Report links
A report is about an area, not about you, and anyone with its link can open it, so you can share it with a flatmate. Who asked for a report isn’t shown on it.
Keeping and deleting
We keep your account and the list of reports you asked for while the pilot runs. To see what we hold about you, or to have your account and that list deleted, email gauravpatwardhan7@gmail.com.
